H-B Instrument Company’s calibration laboratory is A2LA accredited in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005 covering the scope of liquid in glass, electronic, and bi-metal thermometers and proof, specific gravity, Baume heavy and light, and American Petroleum Institute Scale Hydrometers. |

The test procedures of NBS Monograph 150 and 174 and ISO 17025 are used as guidelines for calibration and H-B’s quality standards meet ISO 9001:2000 and ISO Guide 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 criteria |

Each thermometer, hydrometer, barometer, hygrometer, timer, clock, and stopwatch is individually calibrated to NIST and DKD/PTB and is returned with
a laminated Report of Calibration in a free custom storage box |

Once calibrated, your instrument can be used to calibrate other equipment and instruments |
Follow these Simple Steps:

Call 610-489-5500 to place your calibration order. You will be given a Service Request Number, pricing, and expected delivery date (typically 5 business days). |

Send your instrument/s to H-B Instrument Company. |
| |
• |
Our team of experts will inspect and calibrate your instrument against NIST and DKD/PTB traceable standards and corrections will be recorded. |

• |
A Report of Calibration will be created, checked, signed and laminated (meets record keeping requirements for FDA and ISO 9000). |

| |
• |
Your instrument and Report of Certification will be returned to you and the data will be stored in our database for future reference. |
| |
• |
Reminders will be sent for annual recertification 11 months after initial certification. (NIST recommends instrument recertification annually.) |
